PALM SPRINGS, CA – Club Skirts révèle sa line-up pour le Dinah 2016.

Vous n’avez encore jamais rien vu de pareil !

Le festival de filles de Palm Springs, Californie durera une nouvelle fois 5 jours (30 Mars au 3 Avril, 2016) à l’Hôtel Hilton, le Convention Center PS et au Zeldaz Nightclub.

Le Dinah, le plus grand évènement lesbien du monde, célèbre ses 26 ans ! Et encore une fois, il y fera tellement chaud qu’il sera juste obligatoire de piquer une tête dans la piscine du Hilton pour pouvoir marcher droit 😉

« Nous avons mis en place la ligne la plus excitante de toute l’existence du Dinah. Si je choisissais un Dinah, ce serait celui de cette année. Je suis vraiment heureuse. Toutes les personnes à qui nous avons demandé ont dit oui. En conséquence nous avons le plus étoilé, talentueux Dinah qui n’a jamais été monté ! Ça va être une année suprême  ! », nous annonce Mariah Hanson, fondatrice et promoteur du Dinah.

L’animation sera dirigée par la présence de plusieurs Kick-Ass dont Elle King (deux fois nominée aux Grammy Award), DJ Taryn Manning et la comédienne Lea Delaria alias Big Boo de Orange Is The New Black, la célèbre DJ Samantha Ronson, les étoiles emblématiques de The L Word, Kate Moennig et la chanteuse de UH HUH HER, Camila Grey (qui forment ensemble X-Names), la top model internationale Madison Paige, et l’une des figures les plus passionnantes de la scène rap d’aujourd’hui, Angel Haze.

Elles seront rejointes par la venue pop de JoLivi, les membres de The Real L Word saison 3, et de Hunter Valentine pour leur spectacle d’adieu en remerciement aux fans.

Et comme si cela ne suffisait pas, avons-nous mentionné la partie « Hot as L« , l’un des événements de signature du Dinah ?

Ramenant la magie de séries dramatiques et de télé-réalité lesbiennes très populaires de Showtime, The L Word et The Real L Word, « Hot as L » mettra en vedette quelques-unes des étoiles les plus aimées et les plus populaires de notre communauté, y compris Elizabeth Keener, Clementine Ford et Tracy Reyerson .

S’annonce un week-end de performances fortes en énergie, que ce soit avec les chanteuses ou les DJ à leurs platines, dont la célèbre cover-girl et super modèle Madison Paige qui débutera sa carrière musicale ce printemps lors de cet événement mythique lesbien.

Cette année, le Dinah met un accent supplémentaire sur les DJs féminins avec de grands talents qui vont toutes apporter quelque chose d’unique sur scène.

Taryn Manning, DJ internationale, musicienne et star de la série originale Netflix OINTB (Orange Is The New Black) est indéniablement une grande favorite de l’industrie du divertissement. Que ce soit à l’écran, derrière un micro ou avec un disque, elle le fait et de façon impressionnante. Avec une oreille exceptionnelle pour la musique, DJ Taryn Manning a émergé comme enfant prodige sur la scène des clubs. 

Elle est rejointe par Camila Grey et Kate Moennig, prévues pour apporter leur marque de style garçon manqué, démarche assurée et sexy, tueuses de platines au Dinah, ajoutant leur nom à une playlist phénoménale. Ce sera la première fois que les dames bien-aimées qui, ensemble, forment les X-Names, feront équipe pour mettre en valeur leurs compétences aux platines.

Ce partenariat électrisant de DJs a réussi au-delà de tout ce qu’on aurait jamais pu imaginer.

Les X-Names – qui font tourner un mélange de Indy, Deep House, Darkwave, Nuwave, Nowave, Electro, Disco, Hip-Hop, 70 et 80 – parcourent le monde pour jouer dans une variété de clubs et de soirées avec des clients comme Stella McCartney et Amour Vert, pour ne citer que quelques-uns.

Ces icônes de la communauté sont sur le point d’emballer la piste de danse du Dinah faisant le pari d’envoyer les filles au zénith.

Le week-end de renommée mondiale de cinq jours a déjà fait beaucoup de bruit et est en bonne voie de devenir le Dinah le plus EPIC de l’histoire… Vous n’avez encore jamais rien vu de pareil !

PALM SPRINGS, CA – Club Skirts has revealed its entertainment line-up for The Dinah 2016.

The Palm Springs, California-based all girl party and music festival will again take place over the span of 5-days (March 30 through April 3, 2016) at the Hilton Hotel, the PS Convention Center and Zeldaz Nightclub.

Celebrating 26 years as the largest lesbian event in the world, Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend delivers yet again another roof-raising celebration with a steamin’ hot lineup that will most definitely blow the lid off the sunny oasis!

The stellar entertainment roster is led by a strong and diverse presence of kick-ass female artists including two-time Grammy nominee Elle King, Orange is the New Black stars DJ Taryn Manning and comedian Lea DeLaria, celebrity DJs Samantha Ronson, L Word iconic star, Kate Moennig & UH HUH HER’s lead singer Camila Grey (who together form The X-Names), international top model Madison Paige, and one of the most exciting figures of today’s rap scene, Angel Haze.

They’ll be joined by pop newcomer JoLivi and the all-female power pop/punk band and The Real L Word Season 3 cast members, Hunter Valentine who will perform their farewell show – their scheduled last stop – to thank the fans for one hell of an amazing ride.

Bringing back the magic of Showtime’s hugely popular lesbian drama series and reality TV show, The L Word & The Real L Word, “Hot as L” will feature some of our community’s most beloved and popular stars including Elizabeth Keener, Clementine Ford and Tracy Reyerson.

It will be a weekend of high-energy performances and premieres whether singing in front of a mic or spinning records behind the turntables. World famous cover girl and super model Madison Paige is set to debut her music career at the epic lesbian event this spring.

This year the Dinah is putting an extra focus on trail-blazing female DJs with a diverse group of high-profile talent all bringing something different to the decks.

Taryn Manning, international DJ, musician and star of the Netflix hit original series Orange is the New Black. is undeniably a go-to favorite of the entertainment industry. Whether on screen, behind a mic or putting the needle on the record or on a piece of fabric, this triple threat does it all and does it impressively well.

With an exceptional ear for music, DJ Taryn Manning has emerged as the club scene’s golden child. Manning has booked gigs including high profiled events such as House of Hype’s Sundance and Coachella parties, Rock The Vote Friends & Family Grammy Party, and Richard Bransons Rock The Casbah, to name a few.

Joining her are Camila Grey and Kate Moennig slated to bring their trademark tomboyish style, sexy swagger and killer turntables to the Dinah, adding their names to an already phenomenal 2016 Entertainment line-up. This will mark the first time the beloved ladies who together form The X-Names, will team up to showcase their spinning skills.

What started as “dabbling” for this electrifying pair quickly spiraled into a DJ partnership that has been successful beyond anything they both could have ever imagined.

Now together X-Names – who spin a blend of Indy, Deep House, Darkwave, Nuwave, Nowave, Electro, Disco, Hip-Hop, 70’s and 80’s – travel the world to play a variety of clubs and parties entertaining A-List clients such Stella McCartney and Amour Vert, to name a few.
